LCHS's first REACH Scholars were honored at the State Capitol by Governor Deal this past Wednesday, January 25. The REACH program is the State of Georgia’s first needs-based mentorship and
college scholarship program. The mission is to ensure that Georgia’s
academically promising students have the academic, social, and financial
support needed to graduate from high school, access college, and
achieve post-secondary success. REACH Scholars are nominated during their 7th grade year for participation during their 8th grade year.
